What is your head circumference?

I know its a random question. I have always known I have a large head and that women’s sun hats won’t fit me... ever!
More recently I’ve noticed that stores like COS are offering two hat sizes (hence the measuring) which makes me very happy.
But I’m interested, how much variation is there?
I’m a snug 59cm which according to Google is on the cusp of a men’s XL. People never believe me when I say I have a large head so I feel simultaneously vindicated and mortified.
P.s. also note that men have always had a good range of hat sizes and it seems it was never assumed they all had the same size.

Mines massive 24 inches don’t know what that is in cms about the same as yours I think.

56cm. Is that small?? Medium?! No idea.

56 is about average. I think hair matters on this one. Even tamed into a bun mine takes up loads of space.

Yeah that’s true about hair I’ve got loads of that too.

A snug 56cm, all head, hardly got any hair. I nearly always need a large hat.

You are all teeny bobble heads! 62cm here. I’ve almost never bought a hat off the peg.

The Panama Hat Co are excellent and will search out larger hats for you in their stock room - the natural fibre ones sometimes come up larger.
Or I have a sun visor with elastic at the back.

I didn’t realise I had a big head until I went shopping for a nice hat to wear to a wedding, and everything I tried on just perched ridiculously on the top of my head!

It seems I’m not much of an outlier and that maybe high street retailers have never catered for 50% of women.

55cm according to my riding hat! I buy youths baseballs hats as adults are always too big.
