I'm off bra shopping can someone just check size please

I have cleared out my underwear drawer, having nothing that fits (36D or smaller) and have done the boob to bust measurements.

Just want to double check what sizes to buy.

Will be buying three new bras for now, black, white and nude coloured.

Anyone got any suggestions on other sizes to try?

34E was too tight

You are the same size as me 34ff. It's no wonder 34e was too tight. If you need to buy on the High street Debenhams usually have that size. Bravissimo are very good but can be pricey but they will help you find which style suits best. I personally like Freya and Fantasie and get them from Lingerie Outlet or Belle Lingerie

Had to go for a 38D in the end everything else was too tight or too big

There's no way you are a 38d with those measurements.

It's the only size that fitted, I don't mind trying other sizes, I just wanted bras that did not give me the four boob look or dug in to my skin.

34E is 3 Cup sizes too small, which is why it was too tight.

The 38D might go on OK but the band wouldn't support you for long and would ride up.

Same size as me. I find the Gorgeous range in Debenhams fit my shape well (before I drifted away from bras after finding m & s flex cami bras. They only go up to an e but they seem roomy so fit me well and are more comfortable at the moment).

Bravissimo all day long! Order 34ff and 34g and try both I reckon. They have a good returns policy.

Ok, the 34g, how did it fit? It's the only one even in the right ball park really. Also, do you know what bra/brand it was?

Bravissimo works for me. They didn't measure just tried a whole stack on until we agreed on what worked. They've lasted 4 years I think so expensive but worth it.

Try 34F and 34FF then

Agree, try 34f and ff, but it's also really important to scoop! Once you have a bra on, lean forward, put your right hand inside your left cup and reach right back to your armpit and pull all of the soft tissue you find there forward in to the cup. Repeat on other side. This makes a huge difference, my bras look too big until I do it.

Bra back to front (so cups on back) is good way to check band size

Found a bra that fits perfect at the front, but leaves me with a shelf sticking out above the strap at the back
Do I go up an band and down a cup, or just up a band?

What is the fit of the band like back to front? Can you do that, and also the scooping i described? Often upper back shelf is solved by a good scoop and may mean you actually need a bigger cup
