Anyone have an idea for these. I was thinking Skechers GoWalk, but they arent as smart as I would like. I will need to get them online

What are they to wear with? X

Elouera · 22/06/2020 19:50

Clarks? Really depends whether you mean smarter trainers or a heel/flats work show which are reasonably comfortable?

BattyBettysBiccy · 22/06/2020 19:51

I will be wearing a skirt as it is indoors this July. I have flat loafers, but need cloud soft comfort. Skechers would be perfect but not really smart for dresses iyswim

You could try Donna by hotter?

MrsFruitcake · 22/06/2020 19:57

If it's heels you need, then these Geox are really the most comfortable I've ever worn. They are pricey but they are worth it.

@OhTheRoses

Excellent suggestion Smile

Browzingss · 22/06/2020 20:00

I rate dr marten 1461, they also have a pure black version (mono)

Groundhogdayzz · 22/06/2020 20:06

I find Gabor really comfy, they do some nice flats in several colours, used to have a tan and white pair that went with everything.

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 22/06/2020 20:07

I would suggest Gabor, too.

Very nice - but a bit more summery as it is in July

The Clarks Rio range is incredibly comfortable (Skechers type foam soles), and the Strap and Step styles are smart and dressy enough to wear with skirts and dresses. I've got the Strap in black, and happily wear them with midi skirts in jewel colours. The Step in blush could be versatile and summery. They're not cheap though.

OhTheRoses · 22/06/2020 22:13

I've got Donna in pale blue suede which was quite summery

Another option is the silk range from John Lewis. The shoes are available in wide and can be dyed to suit.

You could also try a shop I came across in France that has a concession in Harvey Nicks. Lovely shoes - trendy and dainty styles. Bit pricey here though.

OhTheRoses · 22/06/2020 22:21

The John Lewis ones are called rainbow club. The one I have is Giselle.

Just another thought for the old lady thread.

morelikeaclubsandwich · 22/06/2020 22:48

Would smart white trainers be suitable?

SavoyCabbage · 22/06/2020 22:52

Ecco white leather trainers?

teabaseddiet · 22/06/2020 23:00

Anything by heavenly feet Smile

DoraemonDingDong · 22/06/2020 23:03

Camper make the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Have you looked at them?

Bin85 · 22/06/2020 23:10

I have Donna by Hotter
I bought them for a wedding and don't normally wear heels of any kind
I managed - walking through grass for photos in churchyard wasn't easy.
I changed into comfier flats at reception.

Have a look at Wonders. wonders.com/GB/en/women-shoes?

Ecco Anine - like a ballet pump but thicker more cushioned sole!

Hoppinggreen · 23/06/2020 10:07

Fit flop do ballet pumps and sketchers also do “proper”shoes

FraughtwithGin · 23/06/2020 10:09

I was recently introduced to
www.solebliss.com
Unfortunately the 2 pairs I ordered didn't fit, but they were very stylish and comfy and I will definitely be ordering again from them (once I have worked out which size to order in which style).

@morelikeaclubsandwich

Unfortunately no to trainers, or the Skechers GoWalk would have been fine.

I need smart - but not sandals - in a light colour
