Big ole clown feet - trainers help!

That's just it really. I have huge feet and can never find nice trainers to fit. Spend half the year wearing saltwater sandals so my toes can poke out, enclosed shoes are always an issue for me. Am willing to pay £££ I just dont know where to try?
I'm a size 9 - 43, not those sneaky 42's they pass off as an 9, and have fairly but not hugely wide feet. Well a wide toe base really, rest fairly 'normal'.
Please help me find some trainers (for pleasure not sport)!

Theres an irish company called Cinderellashoes.com who do larger sizes. Also asos have loads of size 9s (and may be cheaper than the other company)

I have size 6 but wide feet and have switched to men's trainers. I have some new balance and Nike. It may be a bit hit and miss but I was ok with the same size. It's worth a try?

I have mega wide feet & I've just bought a pair of white Adidas Court trainers with silver stripes. They are leather, so comfortable, I've swapped the laces for Hickies as I hate dirty laces. They were £65 from Next.

Same problem here I find them too thin for my big old feet I have these men's Nike trainers i just get the smaller sizes but there much more wider than women's.

Also a UK9/US11/EU43 here and can't think of a brand of trainers that doesn't make my size! Definitely all the American brands do and you might find a bigger range to choose from if you hit up the US online stores.

But yes, for extra width there's always the option of mens' if you're happy to forego sparkles and/or pink and purple.

I'm a proper size 9 ( Clarks and Next too small ) and buy New Balance 420 trainers. Nog exciting colours...Black, navy and grey.
Superga in a size 44 for casual footwear

I tend to buy men's trainers too. My feet aren't as big, but they are wide and men's seem to fit better.

Jajarolo · 24/06/2020 07:42

Men's trainers, no brainer!

graysquirrel · 25/06/2020 19:30

Thank you all. Off to trawl nice men's trainers. Don't care for sparkles anyway!

I’ve got these in a 9, my feet are like paddles. Long and wide and these are completely comfy, look good for casual wear.
