Help style an ageing fat hippy!

Please help! I'm 52, 5 foot 1 and a size 16-18 with HUGE boobs. I need to lose a good few stone in weight. I'm a Spring, and love wearing colours like turquoise, teal and coral.

I've been thinking a lot about streamlining my wardrobe, and getting to the point of wearing what I love and feel comfortable in.

I work part time at the moment, so have a "uniform" of black trousers and a top etc, but I'm looking forward to a few years time when I can ditch all these clothes and wear what I want.

My absolute favourite type clothes are "hippy" type clothes; think the type of baggy trousers you pick up in a market in Thailand. I have several pairs of these, and love wearing them with a T shirt that I tie in a knot at the waist. I also collect crystal pendants which I wear on a torque around my neck. I love maxi dresses or skirts but they are awkward because I'm short.

In my head I am that willowy long haired blond with a cheesecloth flowy top, a straw hat and very short denim shorts, and ethnic bangles, but the reality I wasn't even that at 18. Sigh.

I have bought several pairs of trousers from Forgotten tribes which I love, but wonder if anyone can recommend anywhere else?

Also, any styling ideas of how to look good as a short, fat, dumpy , booby hippy, where I don't look as if I'm trying to have a Gap year, when my reality is more food shopping in Tesco's and walks on the beach!

Have you looked at Sahara London, pricy but might appeal to your style. Sort of older, sophisticated, hippy

Livingthecovidaloca thank you, I will take a look!

Have a look at Gudrun Sjödén. I'm a big fan of their yoga pants they are loose and comfortable with a relaxed look. Plus they are made from organic cotton which is another positive.
