Fit flop sizing

I’ve developed plantar fasciitis 😢. I think I’ve been wandering round the house too much in a pair of Nike sliders. I’ve heard that Fit Flop are a good brand for helping with this. I’m after a pair of their slippers but they don’t do 5.5. Can anyone advise whether I should go for a 5 or a 6?

I generally would size down in Fitflops as they fit your foot better when they are slightly snug rather than roomy.

Thank you

I am a 5.5 and Fitflop do make it in a lot of things, have they just sold out of that size ?
I bought some of their trainers in the sale and they only had the 6 left, they are roomy but with socks are fine and very comfortable. The 5.5 would have been an excellent fit I think. I have wide feet with a high instep and measurements wise I am on the cusp between a 5 and a 5.5 .
If your feet are narrow I think a 5 would be fine.

I am a 5/5.5 generally but find Fitflops quite small. I have always gone for a 5.5 and had to skip and styles which don't have that option, as the 6 is too big.

It’s just a pair of slippers I’m after as I think the lack of going out in proper shoes has caused the problem. I might leave it as they are expensive.

How about just wear a normal pair of Fitflops round the house instead, not the slippers..

Minniee · 22/06/2020 17:26

They come up a bit small I think

Laburnam · 22/06/2020 17:29

I always go for the same size

I'm a 5.5 and I go for a 5 (and in some of the "floppier" styles, eg the ones with a hard leather sole instead of a squashy foam one, I find even a 4 fits nicely).
