Fancy a new mascara. Want to look like I have false lashes without clumping. What shall I get?

I normally wear a tubing mascara but recently started wearing the L'oreal Bambi mascara and it's really good! Doesn't clump although after a couple of months it does start to thicken up and need replacing (but so do all my mascaras to be fair).

I also like Benefit They're Real but it's a lot pricier.

Dinnertime22 · 20/06/2020 22:41

I like the Too Faced one.

Phoebesgift · 20/06/2020 23:05

Bad Gal by Benefit.

Howaboutthisone · 20/06/2020 23:06

Max factor false lash effect in black waterproof.

shoehoard · 20/06/2020 23:12

I've been using this one from L'Oréal

30yearoldpensioner · 20/06/2020 23:13

The body shop do a fibre lash hero extension mascara. I use it, it's great, looks just like falsies. It's a good price too, not too expensive

DancingLady · 20/06/2020 23:27

Has anyone used Blinc tubing mascara? Worth the money?

Smallgoon · 20/06/2020 23:30

@Howaboutthisone I wonder if this is as good as the Maybelline falsies mascara which I especially love in the waterproof. Makes me feel like I'm actually wearing falsies, even if it is a bitch to take off.

SunnySummerDays · 20/06/2020 23:34

Always bourjois

AriettyHomily · 20/06/2020 23:38

Benefit roller lash

noodlezoodle · 21/06/2020 02:10

@DancingLady, Blinc is my favourite - it's really, really good, plus removes easily with warm water - but it does thicken up in the tube after a couple of months use. I know it's recommended to replace mascara every 3 months but it's a bit painful when it's such an expensive one!

Cordial11 · 21/06/2020 02:16

Just started too faced better than sex, really like it. I need volume more than length!

PicklePig31 · 21/06/2020 05:32

Another vote for Too Faced better than sex. It’s brilliant. Tried them all too x

Howaboutthisone · 21/06/2020 19:05

@Smallgoon I haven't tried that one. Love the Max Factor one and it doesn't budge. The boots no7 remover was brilliant on it though and am now using the nivea one which does the same job but for less money. The one that separates into two layers.

clara10 · 21/06/2020 19:20

Love Blinc. Put on. Seal tube. Don’t dilly dally. Separate lashes with alt brush. Wash off later with plain water. Job done 👍

YouStupidBoy · 21/06/2020 20:09

I love Blinc, but it's just pipped to the post by Clinque Lash Power for me.

ReginaaPhalange · 21/06/2020 20:10

If you can splurge, Charlotte Tilbury - legendary lashes! maybelline lash lift one is good too

Inkpaperstars · 22/06/2020 16:01

I usually use Benefit Roller Lash but just before lockdown I was nearly out and not knowing what online shopping would be available, grabbed l'oreal miss baby roll mascara in Sainsburys (I was focusing on the important stuff while DP got pasta and toilet roll). I was actually surprised at how good it is, it does seem to clump a little as it goes on but this combs out really well with the wand. Quite easy to remove too,

I have also heard good things about Lancôme Monsieur big.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 22/06/2020 16:24

I have used MAC False Lash (waterproof) for years, but had a small size of Lancome Monsieur Big that was a GWP, so have been using that during lockdown and it is very good. I actually cashed in my Boots Advantage points and ordered the waterproof version of that for when the MAC runs out.
