Can anyone recommend jersey summer PJs with shorts that are actually comfy?

I’m looking for summer PJs. All the models have teeny tiny bottoms and the ‘crotch lower than legs’ design is no doubt fine for them. But not for me - I’ve tried them and had to give up, they’re self-wedgy-ing on me.

I want long ish (knee length? At least mid thigh, but maybe even 3/4 length) PJ shorts, and a short-sleeved (not vest style) top. In jersey, nothing crisp, needs to be stretchy and comfy.

Men’s styles look like the right sort of thing, but don’t fit me (hips and boobs).

Anyone found anything like this?

These are super soft but look no legged? www.thewhitecompany.com/uk/Lace-Crossover-Pyjama-Set-/p/LACCP?swatch=Navy

I have several pairs. Excellent value too

Ooh I would love some of these too! I've just been wearing cycling shorts and a baggy t shirt, can't be walking round with my bum cheeks hanging out with three ds!

MrsA2017 · 20/06/2020 19:18

I wear my husbands boxers - comfiest nightwear I’ve ever found, probably thanks to the fact the seams aren’t located between the arse cheeks Grin no wedgie for me!

I don’t like anything baggy because I find it gets twisted while I sleep

M&S do some cropped legged pjs which are my go to now, some are a little long but way better than shorts that don’t even cover my “bits”

I’ll work through the recommendations, thanks!

MrsA I have tried DH’s boxers but they just don’t work with my hips.

I’d love to have that problem OP - I’m an upside down triangle... So not sexy! Grin

I’d definitely try PP’s suggestion of cycle shorts!

TheBobbinIsWoundUp · 20/06/2020 20:13

Mrs A - it’s a pain with jeans, too, mostly they gape at the back and give me builder’s bum when I sit down, so I’d rather be less curvy. Anyway, I hate tightness when sleeping, and cycling shorts would be all tight and sweaty. My ideal would be just above the knee loose jersey shorts with an elastic waist and a shoulder-covering (I get cold easily) T-shirt top with a V neck.

If it was me, I’d do a bit of DIY and cut some pj trousers to the length you want. (I’d also make sure they have pockets!)

I have just got some like you have described in the laura Ashley closing down sale for half price.
