In Feb I had my highlights done. I now have 3 inches of roots which to be fair look ok it's just there's more grey than I would like.
I've been watching Nadine Baggott's diy root dye tutorial and decided I would attempt a root smudge/pull by matching by base colour.
Messaged a colourist I know who told me I was around a 7N - so I've ordered Majirel 7 and the L'Oréal developer (6% 20 vol) also found a hairdresser who sold me some Olaplex 1 to put in it.
So do I dare do this?
Going to mix a small amount and do a patch test/hair strand test where my hair is at its darkest.
What I'm wondering is will I be able to have my highlights done again as a balagye around Movember/December - they are bleach ones which are then toned rather than high lift - or will this mess it up?
