Just wondering if anyone could help with ideas for what to do. I’ve spotted a lovely winter coat in the sale for my 3 year old son, the only problem is it has a bright pink lining which he will object to as he’s got the idea that pink is for girls from somewhere. It’s such a bargain though, down to £40 from £180 and it will last two winters too. He had the same coat last year (also bought in the sales) and loved it, he’s usually quite picky with clothes!
The coat has a navy waterproof outer but is filled with down on the inside. Similar to the North Face Arctic Parka. I’ve been wondering whether there’s any way to cover up the pink lining - would fabric paint work? I think it’s a polyester lining. I’ve thought about sewing in a new lining but I’m no good at sewing really!
Do I just admit defeat and try and find an alternative...
