Best ask your practitioner. Congratulations on your baby!

Hi, I really think you are posting in the wrong section, this is "The Unexplained" - e.g. weird woo stuff! Not botox. Suggest you message MNHQ and ask for it to be moved to Style and Beauty or something

Hi OP,

We've moved this over to Style and Beauty for you but if you'd prefer it in the breastfeeding forums or similar just drop us a line.

You cant have botox while breastfeeding. I learned the hard way by being turned away from an appointment as I didn't realise.

Also is anybody doing botox right now??

gully83 · 03/10/2020 14:05

I've had mine down today, I am still breastfeeding my 25 week old daughter, I was told by practitioner that she herself continued her treatments during pregnancy and during breastfeeding, however they aren't insured and this is why they do not go ahead with appointments as they don't want to get sued! However, I have expressed 2 days worth, so I will Chuck away what I express the next 3 sessions, also, it does not pass thru your milk.

Hi there, apologies for digging up an old thread but I wondered whether you went with the botox in the end? I am combo-feeding a 3 month old but desperately 'needing' a bit of botox in the forehead to combat my ever-growing frown lines. I just wondered whether you did it in the end and whether your baby was OK?
