More comfortable alternative to Converse

I used to live in my converse but since October I have been suffering from what I think is peroneal tendonitis which means I find it painful to walk and stand much of the time. This means I am not unable to wear my beloved converse as they are too painful, I am looking for something similar with a more comfortable, cushioned and shock absorbing sole. Does anyone have any suggestions ( i tried a pair of sketchers go walk and they were too hard).

Superga every time. I find them more supportive and much more comfortable.

Agree with Superga. I also used to wear Converse a lot and find these so much comfier.

I’ve switched to Keds, they are slightly narrower and more comfortable than converse.

Another vote for Superga - and if you can stretch to it the leather is way better than canvas

keen much comfier and wider. I used to get pro keds but they no longer seem to have them anywhere in my size
