I'm 50, have combination skin and have been using the No7 blue packaging night cream.

It's lovely but expensive.

Any recommendations for creams under £20 please?

The Ordinary or The Inkey List both do nice ones!

Cerave PM or just the lotion or the cream in a tub.

Superdrug naturally radiant is lovely and very cheap. I've swapped to this from No 7.

Vichy aqualia is lovely and light, really hydrating but not greasy. I found Aldi caviar too heavy and scented for my skin but I know many people love it.

have you checked ebay for your favourite no7 one, as quite often I get my favourites on there for quite a bit cheaper than in store

If you've got The Range shop near you, try a brand called Revuelle. It's made in Paris, has a couple of different ranges. I've tried a couple of them and they are lovely. They have lovely textures and smells. Best of it is that ranges in price from roughly £1 to £2.50 (it's alot more in France).

I second Superdrug Naturally Radiant. I switched from it to a £50 Clarins cream and saw absolutely no difference so switched back.

I swear by Olay Firm and Lift Night cream. I have tried all sorts (Clarins, Estee Lauder and then all the trendy ones including the retinol types and all the hyped products and the high street ones) but always go back to this. It's really good for smoothing and plumping without feeling heavy or greasy. I'm in my 40s. I do use a decent eye cream (Clinique) as well. Can recommend that too. Don't forget to always apply cream (day or night) to neck and décolletage too as well as your face. I've always done that and I'm wrinkle/crease free there.

The Naturally Radiant and Vitamin E ranges at Superdrug are amazing, and so cheap. I've shifted to them from Liz Earle in my 30s (was using Clinique in my 20s), and my combination skin looks and feels better than it's ever been.
