Skincare routine recommendations

I’m 28 and I don’t really have a proper skincare routine. I use Neal’s Yard rose facial wash and moisturiser, but that’s it really.

My skin looks ok but it is naturally very dry, especially around my nose, forehead and the space between my eyebrows. I don’t get many spots apart from the occasional hormonal ones around my chin/jawline. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, normally just Garnier BB cream, some bronzer/highlighter and mascara.

I really want to start looking after my skin properly but I have no real knowledge about skincare at all, or what would work best for me.

Does anyone have any products they could recommend? Ideally I’d be looking for mid-range stuff, as I don’t currently have the budget for anything too high end.

I'm 27 and your skin sounds just like mine!

Mid range bodyshop vitamin e range is really good and always has offers. You can make up your basics with this and a serim. Camomile cleanser also great.

I'd look at paulas choice and think about introducing and AHA to your routine. That should chemically exfoliate.

Avene soothing moisture mask is my favourite mask, really adds so much hydration to my skin.
