Glycolic acid or something else for ingrown hairs on thighs?

I have awful ingrown hairs on my legs, especially my thighs and inner thighs, always have. I don't shave or wax, and use hair removing cream, but hardly ever.

I know exfoliation is the key and I've tried with a mitt thing and a normal scrub. Has anyone used glycolic acid for this? Or something that really works.

Try Ameliorate cream. It's the only thing that really works for mine

Tendskin might also be worth a go - I found it good when I used to use it a few years ago. I think Superdrug or boots might stock it these days, I used to have to order online.

If you can get hold of Lycon ingrown X-It - that is the best thing I have ever used for ingrown hairs.

If not - Tendskin is good, but Ameliorate is better! My legs are super smooth since I started using Ameliorate regularly.

@LordEmsworth agree here! Lycon ingrown x-it is brilliant! I always suffered with ingrown hairs after shaving or waxing and this always sorted them.

I have just bough a Lumea though as I am sick of shaving etc

2020nymph · 17/06/2020 15:56

@Glitterb how are you getting in with the Lumea? I trying to justify investing in one.

Glitterb · 17/06/2020 16:34

@2020nymph I am just waiting for it to be delivered! It is on offer at the moment in Boots, I have been trying to justify to cost for ages, but I am sick of shaving, waxing and ingrown hairs!

I will keep you updated!

@LordEmsworth @Glitterb

Can I ask where you buy Lycon ingrown from? Im wary of amazon for fakes

LordEmsworth · 17/06/2020 17:52

I buy mine from the salon when I get waxed - I've run out and can't replace it till they re-open... Sad
