Any users of Altruist SPF50 suncream?

I have been using Altruist SPF50 (Amazon) religiously for the last couple of years, and have had a lot of hyperpigmentation / melasma appear on my forehead and cheekbones. Could there be an issue with Altruist not working properly?

I have not had any other hormonal changes to cause this and am positive I am using enough of the suncream. I run outside regularly and wear a cap as well to protect my face.

I have decided to change my sun protection just in case, but interested in any opinions!

i’ve been using their spf 50 and not burned even when it was boiling a few weeks ago. I fell asleep in the garden and got burned on lower legs below my trousers but face didn’t even slightly colour.

So after googling "excellent face SPF50 for face, on a budget " I came across this but really really want Kiehl’s Smile.

It was a bargain at £7 and I really like Garnier sun products anyway. I'll try it this weekend and update here.

Think I may use the Altruist on my legs when gardening as they seem to have some coating on them which repels the sun anyway so should be safe. I think it'll be a ballache trying to return to amazon for such a small cost. I fully realise it may not be fake/off but it jus5 didn't seem to protect my face like Clarins or LRP. I'm optimistic the AS one will be better and for my wallet Smile

That’s interesting, we’ve all been using it for years after it being recommended by a family members skin cancer doctor and I’ve always found it to be fantastic.

You do need to be careful of fakes though, through work I do a lot of amazon advertising and there are huge numbers of fake products on there that look totally legit
