Making my own top, but pattern printing has gone wrong!

I've bought a PDF pattern online (Marilla Walker), and had it printed by an online printer. I specifically asked them to check the 10cm test square at the front, but it's come to me printed measuring 11cm Sad

The whole pack was 90 pages, so I'm loathe to get it printed elsewhere again. Do you think I can just go ahead with a slightly larger pattern, and just use a bigger seam allowance? It's meant to be a 1.5cm allowance throughout, so I guess I'd make it 2.5cm? Or should the extra cm be spread so that it's a 2cm allowance? Help!!!

Sorry maths fail - think it should be a 10% reduction to size rather than an absolute cm amount. Is that workable or should I print again?

Have you gone back to the printers regarding the test square being wrong?

Agree with PP, if they have done it wrong it needs rectifying by them!!

Especially if you have evidence re test paper?

It depends on how shaped the pattern is but generally no, you can't just do bigger seam allowances. The curves will all be in the wrong places. Complain to the printers and ask them to re-print.

Thanks all. I've complained, I'm just a bit too impatient to wait! But perhaps I should!

agreed with PPs in that resizing a pattern is more complicated than that. but what style is the top? if it was an extremely simple, slouchy tshirt, say, you might get away with it

I'm going to wait before I make the dungarees. Thank you everyone for your input. For what it's worth, I made the top using the wrongly sized printouts, and just made small tweaks to the seam allowance, and it's actually turned out ok! This is now making me think I should size up when the new printouts come!
