Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser, eyes stinging

I used to use this a while back, bought a new one recently and every evening my eyes sting like crazy. Through the day it’s fine, I’m wondering if I’m rubbing my eyes in the evening and rubbing it into my eyes. Or maybe it’s not linked to the makeup at all and it’s something different. Never used to happen previously but now every day

Happened to me too. There have been previous threads on this. They changed the formula a while back (fuck knows why, idiots) and now I can't use it because of the eye stinging problem. It feels like it makes my hayfever 100x worse. I switched to Bare Minerals complexion rescue and haven't looked back.

I started with a reaction like this to foundation a few years ago. It became all liquid foundation and BB blur creams. My eyes would hurt, puff up and stream. I switched to Bare Minerals powder foundation and it made a huge difference. I can wear their tinted primer too.

Thanks! I’ll stop using it then

I used mine yesterday for the first time this year. My eye was streaming whist I was applying it but then it settled. I am hoping that I just went a bit too close to my eye with it as I like the product a lot.

I always found that. I switched to the NARS one and it’s miles better

Trying to source the bare minerals one but out of stock everywhere in the shade I’d need.
I’ll look at nars, thanks

Sane here. Camouflage

I had to give up wearing LM tinted moisturiser years ago as I had the most violent skin reaction after having worn it for years. Although not before I had bought 3 bottles as a stock up 😭😭

I have the Laura Mercier tinted foundation in matt and luminous, and I only realise recently that when I wear it my eyes sting to the point that I can't open them. It's like cutting onions . I have twice now had to pull over whilst driving to be able to see. I think im going to take them back to Mecca. They weren't cheap and I can't wear them.
