Wise people of style and beauty please could you tell me what this is so I can search online. It is a mostly flora, light almost chiffon kimono type, no button short sleeved shirt thing. Usually layered over plain t shirt with jeans it’s not really a jacket or a kimono but that’s as close as I can get. Thanks

PurpleButterflyAway · 13/06/2020 09:32

Tunic?

ilovebagpuss · 13/06/2020 09:36

Ah thank you yes they call them a kimono In One Hundred Stars even the short ones. They don’t seem to call them kimono in the high street shops so it’s hard to do a search.
Those are gorgeous will have a browse

They are very lovely, I have a dressing gown. I’d like one of the short jackets but can never choose which one, I think they look great with jeans and a t shirt

No one name used I think. Useful words I've used on eBay when looking for similar:
"Edge to edge"
kimono
Shrug
Unstructured
Throw

Combined with top/cardigan/jacket and the fabric type

Kimono is the usual term for this type of garment. Last year I had this chiffon type dress, a lovely leafy green colour, with a small leaf pattern,
So I decided to alter it all, and make a kimono instead. I just shortened the dress a little, and cut up the front of the dress, and hemmed it. It had three quarter sleeves that didn't need altering, and the whole thing looked great after wards. But I am always altering things when the fancy takes me.
