I'm really enjoying adding to my lockdown skills and would now like to try doing my own lash lift for the first time. Can anyone recommend a brand you have used?

I used the same kit. I bought it from eBay for under £10, so its worth looking around for it.

The lash glue supplied with the kit was crap and just wouldn't hold my lashes in place. I bought a separate lash glue which worked so much better.

What lash glue did you buy with it Empress?

Have been swithering about this for a while. Have just bought one although I feel slightly nervous about using it!

Would also like to know which lash glue you bought empress.

Thanks everyone - I'll give it a shot. Which glue did you get @EmpressJewel?

.....or can anyone recommend a kit that comes with a good glue?

I bought a lash glue from Superdrug (own brand I think).

The lash glue with the kit does work, I just found it really difficult to work with as it's really thin and runny. The glue I bought was thicker so stayed in place. I watched a couple of you tube tutorials beforehand and the trick is to wait until the glue goes tacky before you attempt to stick your lashes to the pads.

Here is the finished result, not brilliant, but a decent first attempt

@EmpressJewel your result looks great! Is the glue that same one used to glue false lashes on?

Yes, it's false eyelash glue. You only need the glue to hold your lashes in place whilst the perming solution does it's job, so I do t think you need an expensive one.
