Show me your shaved heads

I'm seriously considering shaving all my hair off. Is anyone brave enough to show me their shaved head for inspiration?! I've looked at pics online but most of them are actresses/models and I'm neither!

I didn’t shave down to a 0 but I did buzz down my very very overgrown pixie to a 6

Ohh lovely, so that's a 6? I'm thinking of going to 2.

DefinatelyAWeeGobshite You look great !! I have a massive nose though which made me not suit a pixie cut

Mine is currently a very overgrown pixie. I got DH to cut the back as it had turned into a mullet.

Also I've got quite a small head and I'm worrying it will look odd.

Yeah 6 with the Wahl clippers that plug in, they’re brilliant.

DH can’t stand my short hair but I can’t stand having hair touching my neck, given that it’s my head I go with short

My hair is long. I have a box for a head. I literally have corners! I would like to see what it looks like shaved, maybe one day when I'm ready never to have it long again. (Grows too slowly now I've hit 50 to grow it long again now)

I know lots of people think 50 is too old for long hair, but I don't care, my head, my hair 🤷🏻‍♀️

Level go for it, hair grows! I had mine about an 8 in March and in about 8-10 weeks it was an absolute mullet!

You could start at whatever the largest guide you have is and work your way down

There's that too. I have a child's size head, but an overweight body. I fear it would look like a pimple on an elephant 😖

It's more Mia Farrow in Rosemary's baby 12 weeks on, but this was my newly shorn head at the beginning of lockdown

Buzzed with 3. Growing back after chemo and thickening up nicely . I will buzz again with 4 to get the wispy bits off and let it grow out .
I feel at 68 I need a bit more softness .

Trumpton hi, did you do it yourself? I want to crew cut mine, but not sure if my chemo will start before hairdressers is open again.I have clippers....

Yup . Did it myself . Start with a long clipper . The number on the guard gives the length . So no. 3 is 3/8ths .
No. 4 Is 4/8ths ( half inch )
Be aware that you might need to do it a couple of times to get all the longer hairs .
I don’t fade the sides but Brad Mondo has instructions on YouTube if you fancy getting clever !

Trumpton aw, thanks for that. Currently chin length bob, presume i cut it short before getting the clippers on it? Will check out you tube.
