Castor oil on hair...

Has anyone tried this? Did you get any results?

As I'm getting older my hair simply doesn't grow that much at all. Been reading up and castor oil keeps coming up.

I'm a sceptical sod so tend to always check up with you lot first

Castor oil helps keep water loss. It doesn't have any magical quality though retaining moisture will help prevent hair from breaking so much so it could help the hair look a bit better.

Also, nothing you put on the HAIR will make it grow faster. Hair shafts are not alive. They are like fingernails. Some SCALP treatments can help but only Minoxidil has been proven to increase hair growth

Yeah like @damnthatanxiety its a good moisturiser, if you've got a dry scalp it can be helpful but it is very thick. Okay if you have afro, thick or tight curly / frizzy hair, but if your going to use it just keep it to your scalp and maybe thin it down with a lighter oil, sweet almond oil or jojoba oil are good.
