Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice please. I’d like to expand my jewellery with a few pieces that are classic and well designed, but with a modern twist. I'm looking at some silver jewellery by Georg Jensen, which is lovely and beautifully made but I could spend a fortune! Can anyone please recommend any brands or jewellery designers or individual makers of a similar style? I’m hoping that without the brand name they might be a bit cheaper than Jensen. Thank you 😊

Have you ever bought anything from Etsy? Hundreds of sellers with handmade silver items on there. I'm a big fan of 'hammered silver' so will frequently search for that and add loads to my wish list Smile

I came on to say Etsy too - so much choice!

I always go back to pilgrim. Reasonably priced but good quality. Their stud earrings are my staples. The do gold, rose gold and silver options. Lots of layering options.
In fact danish jewelry in general is just fab. Other brands like dansk Copenhagen, hultquist. There are a few websites dedicated to danish Jewelry.

I’m a massive fan of Sheila Fleet.

Have you considered buying names like Georg Jensen from auctions? Massive difference in price and if you buy from a reputable sale room there's no issue with them being genuine

Thank you very much everyone, there are some really good suggestions here, which I shall follow up on. I have a few pieces by Ortak, which are lovely, I was reminded of them by the mention of Sheila Fleet, who’s work looks very similar. I see there are some lovely pieces on Etsy and I see some vintage Jensen there too.

Fiona Hutchinson does some lovely pieces, and will do bespoke too.

I've discovered designers via Wolf and Badger as well as Etsy.
Also try googling the type of jewellery design you like as you'll discover smaller companies...
