was literally the only thing that cured my awful scabby scalp.

Has anyone found an equivalent since they stopped making it?

I'm currently using Body Shop ginger which isn't cutting it.

Selsun 2.5% as an alternative. Same active ingredient but stronger and not so whiffy!

Dh uses this. It has Selenium Sulphide in it which is what was in the L'oreal stuff

Head and Shoulders clinical solutions scalp relief. Get in it Boots, in a box. The only thing that works for me after using the one you mention.

Try it!

Thank you! Dp is going to grab some of the H&S ones tomorrow when he does his Mum's shopping.

The bottle is tiny though - I have so much hair!!

Hi the head and shoulders scalp relief was £3.50 in Sainsbury's yesterday. I've been using it for a year now and it works well for me.

Whalen you say scabby scalp do you mean like an itchy & flaky scaly scalp?
My DD10 is suffering with this what we originally thought was dandruff but looks more like an Irritated scalp on closer inspection.

Bridecilla · 12/06/2020 17:16

@Suzie6789 it's not itchy, more dry. Some bits are like cradle cap :(

Bridecilla yes it’s like cradle cap! I can see yellow patches when I shine a torch on her head. I’m going to buy some of the H&S and see if we can clear it.

Bridecilla · 12/06/2020 18:07

It doesn't help that I can't leave it alone - I'm forever messing with the horrible patches, I do it habitually and it's disgusting
