size 16/18 black jeans

I had a search but most threads seem top be old and recommend jeans no longer available

Which are the best black jeans for a size 16/18 woman in her late 30's? must come up to a decent level as i have a big mum tum. Not too bothered about leg width just not boot cut. im 5ft 7

Boden do good high waisted jeans

I had some nice ones from White Stuff, slim leg rather than skinny. I bought them last Autumn and they have held the colour well, and have a fairly high waist.

Ive had boden jeans before but the fit wasnt quite right for me. i will have a look at white stuff thanks

Next high rise 360 skinny are my jeans of choice. They stretch all over and suck everything in and the black doesn't fade.

I swear by my George Wonderfit jeans, they come up over my tummy and have a nice stretch so are comfy. I do struggle to find them in stock online but can usually pick them up in the local Asda.

Sainsbury’s high rise skinny or high rise flares.

Same size and always buy Dorothy Perkins Eden range ...they are jeggings but not skin tight

Definitely the ASOS Ridleys. Highest rise ever and suck everything in. Super stretchy and very soft. And pretty cheap.

I have the Next 360 and they're really great too, but the Ridleys are a higher rise.

Thanks for the suggestions, see id have never have thought of river island as i associate them with smaller sizes and a bit too trendy but il have a look.

The asos ridgleys do look fab, do they come up really high? On the model they look like they come to nearly her boobs and that would be as big high for me. the length and fit look perfect though

The next ones look nice too might be time to get the old store card out lol

I bought some great gap black skinny jeans - they fit so well

Oasis lily jeans are great if you can still find them anywhere.

Next Lift Slim and Shape are my choice, very forgiving of my generously proportioned thighs and backside

Pepe, bizarrely, that old throw back . You can get them on amazon, their straight leg ones, good stretch, hold their shape etc,

Next hypercurve are great on me. They don't gap at the back, are high waisted enough and have room for my bum!

The Ridleys are proper at my belly button.

But there's free returns so its an easy experiment. They're true to size on me.

Another vote for next 360, they really hold their colour well after washing
