I've been using a pink shampoo/conditioner from bleach london. Think I also have a Lee Stafford pink colour that is temporary.

How permanent do you want it to be?

Lydiathetattooedlady · 11/06/2020 18:49

Depends, If you want it to wash out fairly quick bleach London or crazy colour both do pinks but they wash out after one or 2 washes. Or you could use directions pink and pastelise it with conditioner, theres lasts a bit longer. I had mine baby pink on a "permanent" basis and used superdrug pick and mix permanent dye in rose pink and it sticks but it is very harsh to hair especially because to get pastel pink in permanent or semi permanent you need a very light base so pre lightening is needed. The rose gold can make you roots a little orange if you haven't got them white. They do a dusky pink you but that washed out very quick despite being permanent.

Bleach London Rose

Thanks all. It's for my DD as it turns out I'm not the amazing colourist I thought I was. It's kind of mid blonde with gingery roots. Probably not actually permanent but then not just lasting one wash either.

I use Directions pastel pink mixed with a bit if carnation pink for a pale, pastel colour (I find the pastel too orangey on its own), and mixed with flamingo pink for a really bright colour. The pastel pink washes out within 2 or 2 washes, usually.

Directions Carnation Pink

We use live shocking pink on our dd's hair. Usually foil parts dark pink and other parts pastel pink, though if she washed her hair a lot of be tempted to go for the full bright pink and let it fade.
