I placed a big order on the Avon website over a week ago, I received a we’ve got your order email but haven’t had a dispatch one.
I emailed them on Sunday and had the standard we will reply in 3 working days - still nothing!
I’ve tried to access their website which is suddenly down all the time but they took the money.
I can’t afford to lose the £50 as it was stuff we needed but don’t know what I can do.
There is no one taking calls and when I’ve tried to check online trust pilot reviews are shocking I could kick myself but thought it was a trusted company.
I’m sure it was a legit site as it linked you to a sales rep but nothing there now.

Dd has just started as an Avon rep and she’s been told the website is down at the moment.

I ordered through a rep 10 days ago and it got delivered directly within a few days. She's a friend and said the website is down but didn't seem concerned. I agree their customer service is poor though. Can you contact the rep?

Thanks for replies, I can’t get hold of the reps details and I don’t think she was a local one.
I think I’m just stressing as money was taken immediately and now nothing and no way to check anything

Yes I noticed that. I was a bit pissed off as I wanted some glimmersticks. I would be well ragey if my £50 had been taken with no one replying why you've not received it. Is there any way of getting through to head office???

Nope that’s what’s so frustrating, the phone lines suddenly not available, the website down and no dispatch email.
But definitely took the money straight away

I ordered some a few weeks ago and it arrived really quickly. Hopefully it's just the website being down and it'll turn up soon.

I placed an order just after lockdown began. A few days later I received an email to say four of the items were no longer in stock and the rest of the order would be sent out asap. A week later it still hadn't been despatched and when I contacted them it was a couple of days before I got a reply.

I got the refund quickly but the order took a couple of weeks. I usually order via a rep and have never had an issue that way. I think they are just slow at the moment.

I can’t even get a reply to emails despite an automated one saying response in 3 days. When I was searching for contact detail I saw their trust pilot reviews- absolutely shocking and makes me think I’ve lost my money Angry

I decided to try AVON again,as not been out in lock down, and wanted some make up items,and Bath stuff. I used to buy Avon stuff way back in the 1960 era. My online order came in four days, This was about three weeks ago.

I ordered some Avon stuff online last week and it came in a torn Jiffy bag yesterday, with only 2 of the 7 items ordered in it. I emailed them and got this delightful response:

Thanks for getting in touch.
We’re receiving a lot more requests for help at the moment and we’re unable to take any more incoming emails until 1st July 2020 so your email will be deleted

Er...thanks Avon. I shall email again on 1st July but I'm not hopeful I'll get a refund or that the missing goods will be dispatched.

It’s disgusting that a well known company is behaving like this.
I totally understand that deliveries will be much harder at the moment but to have no way to get confirmation of what is happening is ridiculous.
I can’t understand how they took the money but can’t dispatch the items.
