Just that really, my skin care routine prior to lockdown and the first few weeks was wash face at end of the day with a cleanser in the shower alternating two types daily (if I had waterproof mascara on I'd also use a Miscellar water around eyes first). Then I'd moisturise and sometimes I'll base that with a stronger hydro serum, and twice a week I'd use a light peel.
The last few months however I've just been using the milder of the two face washes and that pretty much it. I've but my face cream on a couple of times but that's it.
Anyway my face looks no different Taht it did when I was using loads.of products no dry patches or spots or anything. A light tan and some freckles from the sun is about all. I've always wondered how my mum had such great skin where all she does is splash with water or a bit if hand soap now and again. When I have always struggled with my skin, sensitivity, spots redness etc.
Has anyone else maybe come to the realisation you don't need all that stuff and it might have got your skin into a bit of a bad cycle or triggering the stuff you were trying to treat? P.s. I totally understand this won't be the case for everyone just curious if lockdown has trigger any beauty care changes?
