What is hush sizing like?

I'm trying to buy a more quality basic wardrobe and thinking of looking at hush, but I'm interested to hear what they are like for size. I'm a 16ish

I’m a pretty average 10, but I find the sizing is very generous- usually order an 8 or XS.

Huge, and the quality of knitwear is terrible, so definitely avoid that. Things like sweatshirts can be good, and they do (or at least did) lovely candles.

Thanks I'm wading into a bit of a style minefield. I sort of know what I want, but no clue where to look or how different places are for size. I think I'm going to give hush a swerve, I'm reading lots about their sizing and quality being a bit unreliable

I've bought quite a bit from Hush recently and I've been really pleased.
I'm a size 10 and usually get S or XS if I want it more fitted. I love their clothes and have to say I'm not a fan of Toast at all.

I think it comes up really big. I go down a size

Everyone always says generous but I'm a 10 in every single high street store and a 10 in Hush or small is right for me and I buy a lot of Hush clothes.

I agree the quality of the knitwear is poor but it's my 'go to' shop for jeans, dresses and skirts.

I think it depends on what shape you are. I’m pear-shaped and I find the Hush jeans/trousers are very generous around the waist. My hips are too big for their size 6, but their size 8 is massive around my waist. At least a couple of inches too big. I’ve tried several different styles and they’ve all gone back.

I'd say true to size but their vibe is quite loose and relaxed so could see why people would say the stuff comes up big, I think they design it that way iyswim

I'm a 14.16 and get xl in hush

I find the tops on the big side so always size down. Dresses depend on Shape. Jeans are okay, a bit big but I don't wear skin tight much. I like their stuff usually. Unlike @Judystilldreamsofhorses and @Ellapaella I've not had problems with knitwear though I don't buy much of that ( I have a long cardigan, 2 winter thin jumpers and 3 summer jumpers and they've all been fine for me but I am obviously just speaking from my experience).

The sizing is huge, I've had to give up on it.
