Has anyone got any advice on using this, it says not to use around lip and eye area. As I am the sort of person that would use all over my face and neck, what damage would it do to that area?

I put retinol on my under eye. I just dab a bit of moisturiser on when it’s soaked in.

It’s actually a really mild rentinol (their marketing around it is really confusing) so you’ll be fine using it all over your face. Just take it up to the orbital bone of your eye socket

And using retinol it’s so important to wear SPF every single day due to photo sensitivity

I also use retinol under my eye. That's where most people start getting lines so seems a bit pointless to not use it there. Same as fluffycloud though, just use some moisturiser to buffer it slightly.

Retinol won't irritate eyes etc anymore than the skin anywhere else. Just try not to actually get it in your eye!

Slight derail...if I am using a retinol product at night, should I follow later with a night cream, or miss the moisturising part out? I have always assumed I would be diluting any retinol effect.

Yes, false marketing on No7’s part, labelling it as 1.5% when it’s more like 0.3% Hmm Yes you can use moisturiser afterwards but maybe leave it 10 mins or so, so that it doesn’t ‘dilute’ it too much?

Thanks mrs.
