Hi all

Ok during lockdown I thought I might try this 'not washing hair' thing that people are on about.

So ive not washed my hair in about 5 weeks

I got past the greasy stage and now into the naturally shiny phase with the oils going down my hair - although it needs a bloody good cut I'll admit! I quite like it though. I can see the lack of frizz and how my hair naturally 'hangs' I don't need any products at all for volume etc

What's everyone else's opinions?? Or anyone's experiences??

People who have done it would you ever use shampoo again?? Did you find your hair grew quicker or texture change??

I'm watching this thread.

I have always wanted to do this, but I always get so far and then give in and wash it.

I have a few questions if that's ok?

How long did it take to get past the greasy stage?

Does the smell go away? you know the typical need to wash your hair smell does it go?

What do you do when you've been sweating? I was doing so well last time I tried them we went on a hike with the dogs and when I cane back I was sweating a lot, I gave in and washed it

Sorry I'm mid speech there, that was a promo video I did for a new no7 product at boots. Absolutely no products at all and hadn't washed my hair for a month

To get past the greasy stage about a week. Regards to smell my hair just smells like home. As stupid as it sounds but a bit of deodorant before you go for a hike or something does wonders. Also makes your hair smell nice. If my hair ever smells like that I always put a bit of coconut oil in. If you do use products a lot of people either just rinse their hair with water or use baking soda and apple cider vinegar which I don't like the sound of personally

One thing that is amazing is not having to wash my hair if I'm in a rush!!!

Anyone done no 'poo??
