Yes I think it would suit your colouring

Elouera · 07/06/2020 11:47

I'm similar colouring, but pale blues make me look washed out. I find greens or reds suit me better, but you know your colour/style more than me. The dress also looks very frumpy, but again, only you know what would suit your body shape.

I'm the same, and like Elouera that wouldn't be quite right for me. It's ok, but would be better if it was darker or had more contrast.

It completely depends on things like your skin tone, not everyone with dark hair and pale skin will suit the same things. A few questions:

  1. do you better suit pure white or cream? (One or the other will wash you out more)
  2. do you suit gold jewellery or silver jewellery better?
  3. do you have any pale blue clothes in your wardrobe? If yes, do you feel good when you wear them?

If the answer to 1 and 2 is cream and gold, then I would say you probably won't suit it. If white and silver, then you most likely will. And if you have a pale blue something else and you feel good in it, then it's likely because it naturally suits you, so this probably will too. If it's something you pass over for other items/colours or you never feel completely comfortable in it, it may because it doesn't completely suit your colouring.

Most people subconsciously are aware of what suits them or not once things are actually physically on them, hence why you change your mind in the dressing room of a shop after having picked it up on the hanger.

Hope this helps!

Thanks all! Especially those detailed questions! I am definitely a white rather than cream person but maybe go with gold more than silver, is that wrong?! I did have pale blue in the past that I really liked but not in recent years..

I don't think it's frumpy, it would be much dressier than usual for me and I thought with nice earrings, a belt maybe and nice shoes I could make it boho-esque! Grin But really I am doubting the colour as I think it's more a Delph blue that suits me perhaps.
