I've been thinking about a chunky knit cardigan for ages and ages (at least a year) - can't find the right one anywhere- then from the Toast thread had a look at plumo and they have the one!! But it's sold out ShockSad

Please tell me where I can find another such cardigan!! Not too bothered in colour honestly - it's the shape and the texture I keep thinking about...

No ideas on sourcing similar but the first thing that occurs if that that would be SO easy to knit! Do you know a good knitter?! 😁

tinkiiev · 06/06/2020 22:31

I actually can knit! Although haven't for years. But the longing is keen enough that I would consider trying. I guess It might not that that long on really big needles, right?!

I'd need a pattern though and have no clue how to find one...

mumshandmade.com do similar. Plumo sell a lot of brands without explicitly naming them so you could do some google detective work and see if you can track it down elsewhere.

well if you can knit, try Woolandthegang...like this one?

It would be easy. Square unconstructed shape, thick needles so quick yes! You’d need exactly the right wool. Looks quite coarse.

The Knotty Ones have similar

And they’re a great company to support if you can!

I would also keep checking the Toast website in case one is returned.

That strategy has worked well for me sometimes - but obviously not always!

Mumshandmade do lovely chunky knits

BikeRunSki · 07/06/2020 14:46

Plumo source other manufacturers’s stuff. If you can find out where the cardigan comes from, you might be able to get one directly.

Ooh I do like those Knotty Ones ones!

I can vouch for the knotty ones, their quality is fantastic.

Update! After weeks of indecision I went for the Knotty Ones and love it SmileSmile
