Retinol for Stretch marks

Having recently had a baby my stomach is covered in stretch marks. I've been researching that retinol may help with the appearance of new scars, has anyone had any success, or can they recommend what product to use? Thank you.

I haven't used retinol but what do you mean by 'recently'? I have a 19 month old and I'd say my stretch marks improved radically up until at least a year, maybe more. I'd be tempted to hold off before doing anything. Mine were appalling at the start, didn't show any improvement at all for six months then one day I suddenly noticed they looked a lot better. There's a lot of hormonal resettling that goes on for quite a while so I wouldn't rush it.

stretch marks are broken connective tissue under the skin.
no amount of skin treatment can get rid of them unfortunately,

I am not sure about retinol but I have used fractional laser treatment on my stomach stretch marks and after only 2 treatments I notice a huge difference. I am looking forward to getting a few more treatments once things are back up and running. I started the treatments about 3 months post birth and highly recommend. It is expensive but it does help reduce them a lot.Smile
