Looking for some nice larger sized gym gear

I've started working out more and want to get a few more nice outfits - some leggings and a vest top. I have a lot of cheap stuff which I absolutely boil in. As I'm a few stone overweight I get really sweaty, so I'd like some good quality fabrics to keep me cool. Size 18 and large of bum/thighs on bottom and size 16 on top. Can anyone recommend anything? I'm tempted by Sweaty Betty but it seems incredibly expensive. Ideally looking for 3 outfits so I don't have to keep washing them in between workouts

Personally I love the leggings I got from Rainbows and Sprinkles - really good quality (not see through!) and importantly for me they do a tall length as well as regular and capri. Plus the prints are awesome and i like that I'm supporting a small business.

ASOS have a sale and their Curve range might be good to explore.

Thanks Ohhgreat - I'm not sure I'm quite confident enough to pull off the bold colours and prints! I'm very self conscious of my bottom half!

I'm a 16 and recently bought high waisted leggings by LA Gear from SportsDirect. They are nice quality and have a firm smoothing panel at the front. Cheap as chips. I got black but they do some not too garish prints.

I planned on spending more but I'm losing weight so didn't want to splash out on something I'd only wear for a short while.

I reach for them quite often, exercising or not, because they're so comfortable.

Marks and Spencer has some in itS Good Move range - could even be in the sale - and has wide range of sizes.

If you like a bit of colour, look at Sturdy by Design. Amazing, excellent quality leggings and they're completely squat proof. I started with 1 pair about 9 months ago, I now have about 10. I love them.

Give Matalan a try. I've had gym stuff from them that's lasted 3 years without any fading, stretching etc. If you fancied branded stuff, Curvissa or Marisota or maybe both have plus sized ranges of Puma and Reebok for example.

I'll second the M&S range, I've been really impressed with the leggings.

I second Sturdy by Design - absolutely love them!

Another vote for M&S leggings. They are v good quality for the price.
