Teenaged Boys Clothes Sizes

Does anyone know what boys clothing size is typically equivalent to a mens size xs? Eg 14-15, 15-16 or is it bigger?

I would say at least 15-16. DS is in 13-14 and it’s a lot smaller than DP’s clothing which is xs.

Trying to find a T-shirt for DS on Amazon, the kids sizes stopped at 158 which is equivalent to 12-13, but the men’s sizes were much much bigger on the size chart. The only in between size were the women’s which were cut differently. I was looked at nasa tee shirts.

It's difficult to find in between boys clothes, especially if they don't like sporty stuff! There seems to be a bit of a black hole.

You'd need to look at the measurements really.

DS1 was generally a men's S at around 15-16 but DS2 was an XS slim fit. DS1 is about 3" taller than DS1 now they are both fully grown but both are a men's M.

DS1 is taller than DS2. He is not taller than himself 🤦🏻‍♀️

I would say about 14-15. Ds2 is 14 and wears both Primark pyjama bottoms in XS and their T shirts, 13-14 and XS, but you can tell there is a size difference. Hence why I say 14-15.

We tend to use Primark because their t shirts are £2.50 each, Asda and Next. It is an awful inbetween sizing.

I’d agree, find the shop you’re interested in, then look at the size chart for both boys and men.
I found for H&M that women’s XS was the same chest as age 14 girls I think. But length may well be different.

Its always been like that , my ds is 24 but that preteen, early teen stage was awful to buy clothes for. Thankfully ds was 6ft at 13 so he could get mens clothes. I found Debenhams was good for him at that age
There are post after post on here whinging about girls clothes, when there is usually 3 times the shelf space given to girls over boys! I do have a girl as well

My Ds 13 currently wears size S in hollister clothing. He’s hit puberty quite early and looks roughly 14-15.
