Sandals for the ugly of hoof

I need some new sandals. I want them to be cool and airy, comfortable maybe padded (my feet seem to be very easily shredded), not super frumpy, to mostly cover my toes as I can’t be bothered to paint my nails), and to be wearable with a mild bunion. I sound like a witch. I bought some ASOS ones last year and they felt flimsy and cheap, so I’d like something a bit more solid.

Is this an impossible dream?

What about this style below:

Very similar to the styles that PPs have suggested but how about Minorcan sandals? I have three pairs of these (not currently in this colour) and whilst they have an open toe they don’t really show much toe and you don’t need to paint your nails.
They aren’t padded but they are sturdy enough in the sole and they stay in place well. I’ve walked long distances around town etc in mine very happily.
I find this brand well made and last multiple summers

I don't have recommendations but i just wanted to say I am not painting my nails this year. A scrubbed, moisturized foot and trimmed nails looks nice too!
