Sorry I know this has been done a thousand times but can you let me know your best leggings? Ideally budget
NuffSaidSam · 05/06/2020 18:28
I want to know this too! Sainsbury's leggings used to be amazing, but they're nowhere near as good now.
Bioprepper · 05/06/2020 18:39
i used to say sainsburys all the way, but last time i bought some they didn't come up as far and were much thinner. Still better than a lot out there though.
Livedandlearned · 05/06/2020 18:49
Primark have thick ones that are decent but obviously that's not doable at the moment
Lottiebugz22 · 05/06/2020 19:45
I have some sainsburys ones and they're brilliant but now I'm gutted because previous post just said they've changed!
NuffSaidSam · 05/06/2020 19:51
The Sainsbury's ones are nowhere near as good as they used to be. It's so annoying!
RedPandaFluff · 05/06/2020 19:53
I really like the Amazon brand ones - Iris and Lilly I think they're called. They're really good - wash well, don't attract every bloody cat hair within a mile radius, and comfy waistband
loopylindazdaughter · 06/06/2020 08:34
Just a little bump, I'll try the amazon ones. Sainsbury's seems a no go. Any others to try please let me know
AvoidingRealHumans · 06/06/2020 08:43
I got some in M&S that I was really impressed with.
EraOfTheGrey · 06/06/2020 12:49
The ones from Mint Velvet are the best I've bought.
PaulRobinsonsWoodenLeg · 06/06/2020 12:54
I second Mint Velvet. The waistband is wide and comfortable, they wash well and are of decent quality.
loopylindazdaughter · 06/06/2020 23:00
@EraOfTheGrey @PaulRobinsonsWoodenLeg how's the sizing? I'm a 10 just wondering whether to go for small or medium?
Everley · 06/06/2020 23:07
Mint Velvet all the way for me too. Not budget but the quality is second to none. Fab wide waistband too. I’m a size 12/14 waist and size 16 bum and I wear the large which fit perfectly. Maybe a tad loose on the waist after one wear but fit everywhere else.
CanIDigIt · 06/06/2020 23:10
Tesco!
High waist, wide waist band, long leg, super stretchy.
They do sell more than one style though. £6
MrsHuntGeneNotJeremyObviously · 07/06/2020 08:29
Nutmeg at Morrisons. Only £10 but have a deep waistband, don't disintegrate in the wash and are nice and thick.
LionKingOrTigerKing · 07/06/2020 08:57
I have some amazing ones, really soft, hair don't stick to them and not at all see through! 100% my favourite pair.. but I don't know where I got them from😭 the label says leggings eleven🤷♀️ gutted because I want more
LittleCandle · 07/06/2020 09:05
I bought a load of cheap and cheerful ones from Futuro Fashion on amazon. Loads of bright colours, not too see-through (the green ones were a bit, but mostly because of the colour) and they wash well, with high waistbands.
Joe Browns leggings are good, but cost a good bit. Simply Be's basic leggings used to be quite good and aren't too expensive and also come in longer lengths if you are tall.
hellswelshy · 07/06/2020 09:52
Recently got some from h&m with a wide waistband that seem very good so far!
southerngirl28 · 07/06/2020 09:53
Topshop. The only ones I've found that don't get baggy knees 🤢
BobbinThreadbare123 · 07/06/2020 09:55
I've only got one pair but the best ones I've ever bought ie they stay black, don't bag or fall down and they're long enough are H&M heavy duty ones. They were pretty cheap as well.
Myfanwyprice · 07/06/2020 10:16
They are out of stock online at the moment, but for future, Asda’s thermal leggings are really good, £8 a pair, really soft and thick, nice high waistband. Mine are 6 months old, worn and washed at least weekly and still look good.
RaggieDolls · 07/06/2020 10:20
I'm going to recommend Boden. Pricy but amazing. They last forever.
YorkshireIndie · 07/06/2020 10:22
Mint velvet!
TheChestnutCafe · 07/06/2020 10:24
I bought a load of black ones from Collusion on ASOS just before lock down. Very cheap, stay black, high waisted, and very soft and comfy.
loopylindazdaughter · 07/06/2020 11:15
@hellswelshy don't suppose you could link? I've gone into H&m website but none described as heavy duty
loopylindazdaughter · 07/06/2020 11:17
Thanks again everyone, mint velvet abit more expensive but don't mind if they are good, if someone could just help with the sizing query? Also looking at recent reviews on John Lewis last 10 or so reviews are bad saying the material has changed
