Hello Smile

I'm trying to make more of an effort to take time out for me and doing more self care and being more mindful.
What are your self care routines/how you relax, unwind etc?

Thank you so much for your replies Grin

I too am loving Jokolo's thread. Without going into the specifics and outing myself, the other day I thought I was going to have a nervous break down. There are a few members of my family and household that I feel have treated me very disrespectfully for a good few years now and it has eroded my self esteem and self worth. After a horrible incident the other day I suddenly decided that enough is enough and if I want others to respect me, I have to start respecting and loving myself.

For me, that starts with taking care of the physical and emotional me. I'll be making notes off Jokolo's post later.

I’m so pleased I found this thread. I’ve hit a wall today, I’m stuck in lockdown in a house with my STBXH. He’s staying here, I’m moving out, hopefully in next 4 weeks and I’ve been relegated to one room. He’s taken this opportunity to wear down what resilience I had left even though he knows I suffer with my mental health. I’ve started having panic attacks again and drinking more than I should. My body is at peak stress and I need to start caring for myself properly.

Sorry, don’t want to distract from the wonderful suggestions on here. When I did daily yoga and gratitude practice I really felt the benefits, so need to find the energy to weave them back in to my day somehow.
