Skin novice at 35

I'm sure this has been done a million times before but I've had a search and can't find what I need.

I'm now 35, i had amazing clear skin up until being 30 (which coincided with coming off the pill)

For the past five years I've been using the Clinique three step and roche posay factor 50 everyday, which served a purpose although didn't give me amazing skin.
But now it's not doing anything, I have red blemishes on my forehead and pores on my chin.
My cheeks can be quite red, I have quite sensitive skin otherwise.

Wrinkles not so much of a problem, as I have Botox and will be once the clinic opens after lockdown again.

I've been looking at the acids, retinol etc but I've read so much I've confused myself.

Could anyone give me some simple steps or basic instructions on what I can try to rectify my skin.

Thankyou
