Small head issue!

I seem to have quite a small head lol and really struggle to get sun hats/sunglasses that actually fit me, does anyone know of anywhere that is good for smaller sizes in these items? I have tried looking at children's sections but the hats and sunglasses are usually always very childlike, and I'm not really going for the unicorn theme etc. Doesnt help either that I have a big nose lol so makes getting sunglasses harder(sounding v attractive here 😂) Budget is pretty small too. Any suggestions welcome!
Thanks in advance!

Small head here too - I wear children’s Ray-Bans, half the price of the adults sizes but exactly the same style and quality.

Can’t help with hats I’m afraid

Me too - I’ve finally admitted that I just have to wear child sized hats - anything else is enormous. Another recommendation for the kids ray bans too.

I'm the same but wear teen Raybans and hats. My reading glasses are from the teen range too

I have quite a small head, I still wear adult sunglasses as luckily I like the oversized look and they stay on ok. For hats I find river islands seem to come up smallest on the high street and I’ve managed to find a couple of nice ones in their children’s range. H&M annoy me as they are one of the few to size their hats but the small is still way too big.

Would you like to share a little bit of my head? I have the opposite problem. Together we could have two ordinary head sizes. Wink

Me too! I've ordered (and returned) three hats during lockdown, one of which was a Comhats medium (they seem to have very few styles available in small).

Village Hats (www.hatsandcaps.co.uk) has small sizes but I've just returned one to them that was supposed to be adjustable from 54-57cm (clearly wasn't).

I've previously bought from M&S kids but their offering this year are too little girly. Tried M&S adults in small/medium but was way too big...

Sunglasses, I'm still wearing a Marc Jacobs pair bought in 2006 - they're completely scratched but I've yet to find a another pair that's small enough to stay on. Will check out Raybans teen/kids!

My daughter has this problem, some ranges sell petite sizes, she bought several pairs of Fossil Petite when we were in the US but I don't know if you can get them over here. Specsavers also do petite frames including sunglasses.

She's 32 and her riding helmet is lined in fabric with cartoon ponies because it was the only that fitted her Grin.

Me too! Last year I bought the perfect sunglasses from M&S of all places. They fit really well and I get quite upset if I misplace them.

For hats - I've bought a few from TKMax because they usually have so many different styles and sizes to try on (pre CV) that I usually find something I like.

I also have my old felt trick - use a glue gun to line the inside of the hat with a rim of folded felt to make it fit!

I have a similar problem! Ray ban teens in size 46 work well and I have the same size for my normal glasses too.

Felinewoman · 20/03/2022 12:55

Can you share what hc you have? My dd has a small head and I am just curious about small adult head circumference. Thanks.

RampantIvy · 20/03/2022 12:59

I also have a small head. I wear glasses and have found that Specsavers offer a good range of smaller sized frames. Sometimes I get them from the teen range.
