Nike!

Matalan souluxe capri leggings are great and not see through either.

superstar63 · 02/06/2020 12:50

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a look. I am fairly new to cycling and have an electric bike but still a good work out for an oldie like me (69).

I am on my third day and have just done 15k so feeling on a bit of a high at the moment lol.

Well done, I cycle alot but wear padded shorts as I have a road bike. I rode to the bike shop which is only 5 mins with my souluxe leggings and yeah my bum was not exactly happy hahah

paap1975 · 02/06/2020 15:37

Get something with padding. I have some from Decathlon which have a padded legging part and separate over-shorts

Deep waistband capri bamboo enduro leggings

I have the full length enduro leggings and use them for cycling. Very supportive. I go out for 1-2 hours on my bike and don’t get a sore bum.

Cyclingmad - The Matalan ones look good and certainly cheap enough to try!

I was out for 50 minutes to do the 15km, a lot of uphill but also a lot of downhill and even with the electric bike I was breathing hard pretty much all the time and only using the electric part on the uphill. My saddle is very comy and wide (as is my bum) lol and so far I havent felt any pain but tomorrow may be a different story!

Thanks everyone, I will also look at the other links.

TLC Sport- honestly I don't know why they're not a bigger brand. I first picked a pair up by chance from TK Maxx that lasted 5 years with very regular wear. Very matte black, totally opaque, nice and supportive.

Lucy locket loves, really fun bright patterns, and very supportive. I dont cycle but I run and they stay in place and stay comfy. Bonus is they have a zipped pocket on waistband so i can stick my phone in there and dont need a bag!

LakeTittyHaHa · 02/06/2020 18:30

Have a look at Sportsshoes.com for Brooks leggings. They have a high waist band which holds everything in (great for a post-baby mum tum like mine!) and they don’t roll down at all. I wear them for running but they are super comfy, best leggings I’ve had for years.

cyclingmad · 02/06/2020 18:35

@superstar63 they are and I know for certain they are not see through. I've tried so many leggings even other sport ones and you can see your knickers through them. These are the only ones I've found that dont and they do suck you in a bit whilst being comfy and at that price it's hard to complain Grin I ordered some more today and they have some new colours too!

Thanks Craskey, I have just ordered those from Amazon and I also got the Matalan ones which seem good.

I ordered the ones @craskey recommended on Friday (with prime so they arrived on Saturday) and can confirm they are bloody brilliant! Feel like I’m encased in a cloud. I was worried at the one size as I’m at the top end of the range but they are very stretchy and not at all see through. Also, he waistband does not fold over even when exercising.
