Haven't worn a dress since forever as have been a jeans and shirts girl for ages now but this appeals to my inner bohemian. Or do I need talking out of it ?

I'm 36, 5'0 ( the dress is petite fit so will be in proportion ) and a size 6-8. Will get an 8 as topshop run small . Will probably wear with gladiator sandals , ballet pumps or even the ballet style superga trainers . Or ankle boots as shown . Yay or nay ?

Yay. Looks lovely.

ReturnofSaturn · 01/06/2020 17:22

It's a nay for me because those colours wouldn't suit my colouring at all.

Plus I'm a sweater and I can't wear all polyester.

I like there style though.

YoureBreakingMyHeartCecilia · 01/06/2020 18:31

I like it OP but I’m another one who can’t deal with polyester (I’m a sweat-monster)

I like the drape of polyester but can’t handle the heat!

I’ve recently converted to summer dresses after decades in trousers so I applaud you OP. I’m happiest in a dress all summer now

Zengarden001 · 01/06/2020 19:15

Not keen on the colours.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/06/2020 20:19

I like it, but wouldn't buy/wear it because polyester.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 01/06/2020 21:50

I like it but couldnt wear i as I'm far too busty. My boobs would fall out of that. If i was flat chested I'd definitely be interested

nomorelove · 02/06/2020 08:53

I'm not sweaty , small boobed and have a warm olive complexion so looks like it's a yes

That's a very pretty dress!

WowStarsWow · 02/06/2020 09:09

I've got this dress in non-petite in the red and pink design and it is lovely! Very flattering and you can tie it more tightly for a neater look or loose for a billowy effect. I found it true to size, I'm a 10 and got a 10. I haven't worn it just yet but I think it'll go with trainers or chunky sandals. The darker pattern on the one you linked could be worn in autumn/winter as well with tights and boots. Definitely go for it.
