I shaved my legs a hour ago and they always look like this.

Put some cream on them?

ofwarren · 01/06/2020 15:50

Mine do too, and my mum's.

bfribgn · 01/06/2020 15:51

It's called keratosis Pilaris and its very common. Unfortunately it's not curable but exfoliating and using a moisturiser with AHA in it can help. I also find getting a bit of sun makes mine look a lot better.

onestepat · 01/06/2020 16:00

Does anyone know which moisturisers would help ?

Try Nip and Fab glycolic lotion - really good. Do intensive scrubbing each day with exfoliating mitts and then put the lotion on after shower. It will go away.

Previous messages deleted as tagged the wrong user but which lotion in particular as they have so many similar ones ?

oohnicevase · 01/06/2020 17:31

Get some isle of paradise drops and just get them out .. mine are lumpy bumpy and probably like that but I dont looks closely enough to worry 🤷‍♀️.. honestly life is too short to over heat!

BobbinThreadbare123 · 01/06/2020 17:33

That is not keratosis pilaris. It looks like a perfectly normal post shaving leg, for a pale white person with dark hair. Looks like mine do after a winter of not being arsed to shave. It goes as I shave my legs more. You could get some Tend Skin lotion, OP.

maybelou · 01/06/2020 17:38

Mine sometimes do this right after shaving but disappears on its own in a day or so!

Bluebooby · 01/06/2020 17:38

I think your legs look completely normal op. Mine are the same, even when not shaved. It's not as noticeable as it looks in a close up picture.

Bluebooby · 01/06/2020 17:40

Here's a close up of my non shaved leg. I think it's the same.

BabyDarlingDollfaceHoney · 01/06/2020 20:00

It's just a pale skinned person's totally normal leg. Nobody in world would look at your legs and notice anything amiss. Maybe fake tan a bit if it bothers you.

UncleFoster · 01/06/2020 20:07

My legs look like this.

In all honesty Ive never thought theres anything wrong with them till this year when Ive seen various posts about legs like this.

Now Im feeling really paranoid about them!

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 01/06/2020 20:09

My legs are exactly like that.

I am fair with light leg hair. I now feel slightly self conscious Grin

AriettyHomily · 01/06/2020 20:13

Do you shave up or down, mine look better if I shave down.

It's not KP.

Sarcelle · 01/06/2020 20:15

I am middle aged but when I was younger my legs looked like that. I also had KP on tops of arms.

As I have grown older they have both disappeared.
