Early fifties and need some help.

Hi I'm 51, five feet one, a size 14 and think I need some style help. Until this Summer I wore a lot of bright flowery dresses that were just above my knees, mini denim skirts with various tops and little blouses. Now I feel a bit old for these clothes and also I have a new scar at the back of One knee so don't feel as confident in short clothes as I used to. I shop in New Look, Peacocks, Primark but can afford more expensive shops.
What sort of outfits do similar aged ladies wear or those of you who are short and a size 14?

I have long dark hair and am quite pretty and happy with how I look.

I'm similar shape to you, bought these last week and they are really nice, I wore with a simple linen t shirt.

I’d wear something like above but I fear the trousers might be a bit sweaty and too long.

I'm 5'2 and they are ankle length on me. I wore with these.
