Black shorts

I really need some black shorts to wear under midi dresses. Any idea where I could find any? High wasted would be even better, but low rise fine. Thanks

Do you mean shorts to avoid thigh rub, if so look at the Big Bloomer Company online.
I have a pair of their nude coloured short leg anti chafing shorts which are £14.95 & available in black too. I've worn them once on a walk in the sun & found them very comfortable, not too hot either, they're very stretchy & are high waisted.
I'm a size 12-14 & bought a size 12-16 pair which are almost too generous.

Snag tights also do great chub rub shorts! If you want actual black shorts I got some from ASOS recently but just for round the house. I wouldn't wear them out with my legs 😂

Yes for that purpose. Also to wear on their own for exercising at home. I probably need different pairs for different purposes

I have some old ones which are a bit sad round the ankle area but fit well at the top. Would I need to hem them at all? My sewing is not marvellous and don't have a machine but could probably manage a hem

Try without hemming (I don't bother) and see how you get on.

M and s do anti chafing shorts, which are like cycling shorts made of thick tights material. Honestly they are like a revelation. I have never been so comfy in the summer!
