A long full skirt - either panelled or tiered with elasticated waist, or semi-elasticated waist, boho / ethnic style but not too full on.

AND in 100% cotton or other natural fabric - not polyester or rayon etc. And not too expensive - I haven't got much money to spare at the moment but I realised yesterday that I have almost zero summer clothes and I find a lot of the manmade fabrics far too hot ...

monsoon is pretty good for cotton usually. This one has a stretchy waist but not cotton, it’s this fabric they are keen on but I cannot work out exact what it means.

H&M and M&S do cotton and linen skirts at decent prices.

M&S doesn't really ever work for me shape wise - I'm an apple rather than pear-shaped and I find M&S design for pears. Like the Kemi Telford vibe but out of my price range. Had forgotten about Monsoon ... haven't bought from there for years

Roman Originals usually have nice cotton ethnic type skirts/clothes.
