Eye make up and remover for sensitive eyes

I haven't really worn makeup since I was in my 20s (50 this year) and generally been happy with that.
I have history of very sensitive skin and eczema but that is a little better these days.

I'm generally happy with the non make up look especially my skin as it just reacts to things like foundation so I end up with bad skin anyway.

But , I do feel that I would like to maybe wear something on my eyes these days as my eyes look smaller with age and less defined. I don't have such long dark lashes that I used to have for instance. So maybe even just a light mascara or perhaps a little soft eyeliner.

My problem is that I have very sensitive eyes and tend to get allergies in them quite easily. The skin around them can be sensitive to that sort of thing too.

I have used mascara on the very odd occasion over the years (think once every couple of years) and it doesn't seem to be the mascara as much as the cleanser to take it off.

The diprobase that I use on my skin and as a soap isn't quite strong enough.

So, all you beauty experts, is there a particularly good light mascara for sensitive skin and eyes (I'm quite dark so would need a black or very dark brown but not anything too heavy ) and more specifically something that can take it off fully without causing any problems.

TIA

I have very sensitive eyes too and can’t get on with makeup removers. Coconut oil or baby oil are great for removing eye makeup. Wet the lashes with warm water first to loosen mascara and then wipe off with a cotton pad soaked in baby oil.
