Fitflops for plantar fasciitis

I have read and heard that fitflops are particularly comfortable for those that suffer with plantar fasciitis.

Is this all of the fitflops footwear or only certain styles? They’re quite expensive so I would prefer to get a pair that is renowned for helping with the discomfort. Please can anyone advise on the best fitflops shoes for PF.

These are all i wear now.
Anything with the microwobble board technology in.
I prefer toe posts.

They are very comfy no doubt about it. I used the euro stretch fabric runners as my pf foot was slightly more swollen than the other. BUT they are not ideal for ankle support (not that particular style anyway).
Fine to get you back up and walking, not hiking or serious exercise.

I was looking at the tia sandals but they don’t have the Microwobbleboard technology.

The styles with the Microwobbleboard technology do not have an arch support, though this is the technology that has been recommended for PF.

Which ones do you wear 2468whodoyouappreciate?

As a fellow PF sufferer, I have a lot of FitFlops. The best are the trainers like the Rally style - the cushioning and support is fantastic and I can walk for miles in them with no problems. I think they call the sole Dynamicush, which may help your search.

Thank you. I haven’t looked at the trainers but this will be a good idea as I’m sure this warm weather will not be forever!
Is there any particular sandal, mule, flip flop that anyone can recommend from fitflop?

I have decided to buy the slippers as I’ve been told not to be barefoot.

The trainers (white leather ones can't ever name) cured my PF which I thought was permanent.

I had PF for a year. At its worst I could hardly walk At all.
I got into FitFlops and now it's all I wear.
I find the toe posts the best for me. The microwobble board ones.

I wear them as slippers around the house as I find the trainers slippers etc very small and narrow.

I currently have lots of Fino and Skinny,Lulu. Lulu are softer leather but Plainer.

Another recommendation for the trainers here too. I’m also just looking at sandals but not finding many of them looking supportive.

Have a look at Vionic. I bought some flip flops from there and they are so comfy. Bit pricey but they have some on sale on the simply feet website.

I had a couple of pairs of FF trainers that covered five or six years of PF, which were absolutely great. Now, with PF a memory, I really enjoy the original Fitflops, with a brace across the arch, even for walking in good weather. They are three bands, two that create the toe band and a third across the top of the foot. If you look on the website, they are the same functional style as sold to men. There are prettier versions ones but if you have PF, you'd probably see them as party shoes, and the fancier models cover that quite well. The message is not orthopaedic remedial foootwear.

@XingMing Don't be complacent, it can and does come back! It did for me. I was utterly convinced it was gone for nearly a year and then a few months in the non-supportive shoes and back it comes 😕

All I can do is cross my fingers, but I am nowadays, really fussy about the shoes I buy.

I now live in FF. I have to wear a heeled court show to work but i.always wear my FitFlops at all other times. My podiatrist gace me insoles for my winter boots but 99% of the time im in FF. I wear mynold toeposts as slippers around the house and I NEVER go barefoot anymore.

At my worst point i could barely walk wirh my PF. I now rely on FF mainly the repost styles and so far it's not come back. Its been 2 maybe 3 years now.

Fit flops were great for PF, I loved the ballet flats and boots too.

However, acupuncture and osteopathy cured it- I’m 8 years out of PF (I still remember the pain).
