On Instagram you see all these babies in lovely linens and natural fibres in neutral colours. Where can you buy baby clothes like that in the UK?

I have exactly the same question. I love the Australian Jamie Kay clothes and am looking for similar over here!

PastaBolognaise · 30/05/2020 08:40

@hillsandvalleys I hadn’t heard of Jamie Kay but just googled and it’s lovely. That’s definitely the style I am looking for.

Perhaps a bit pricey and not an actual store for baby clothes but the white company has some gorgeous neutral pieces for babies

CourtneyLurve · 30/05/2020 08:48

babyccinokids.com/shop/ is probably a good place to start as it's run by Courtney Adamo, queen of the linens.

A lot of Scandinavian brands have neutral clothes. Online stores such as Kidly, Natural Baby Shower, Newbie and Scandiborn could be useful.

There’s a shop I follow on ig called cissy wears and has just that sort of stuff. It’s all gorgeous

I found some lovely things in Mothercare, Tesco, Asda, Morrison's, Boots, M&S and Next. I shopped around a lot, but I wanted all the stuff I bought to be neutral as I knew my friends and family would buy me ALL the pink or blue once baby was born and we knew the gender

hillsandvalleys · 30/05/2020 09:06

@Kenworthington those are lovely but eye wateringly pricey

NannyR · 30/05/2020 09:07

When Lidl have their baby special offers on, they have lovely baby basics such as knitted cardigans, tights, wrap vests, babygros, hats etc in soft grey, cream and oatmeal shades, some of it is organic cotton.

Gap, Zara and h&m were good for this in winter but not so much summer items for some reason.

bronzedgodesswannabe · 30/05/2020 14:16

Zara! Very scandi
Beautiful muted colours and rompers which I just adore!
Try eBay for some bargains

I actually want to have another baby just so I can put them in all the Zara baby stuff 😭

I’m in love with Caramel but cannot begin to afford:

H&M had some good stuff about a month ago but I missed it. Zara can have nice things.

MolotovMocktail · 30/05/2020 21:13

Newbiestore.com is my favourite for baby stuff, but also Caramel London, Cam Cam Copenhagen and Konges Slojd. Zara do some nice things too.

ShivD · 30/05/2020 23:01

H&M baby exclusive section.

Some of the Arket and Cos baby stuff.

Lindex if you search beyond the prints.

Rainallnight · 30/05/2020 23:03

Mama Owl. All Scadi earthy colours, amazing fabrics etc. It’ll cost ya!

Rainallnight · 30/05/2020 23:03

Duh, Scandi

doadeer · 30/05/2020 23:04

White company - but pricey.
H&m, zara, m&s all have lovely simple bits

polyhymnia · 31/05/2020 01:22

I like Newbie, which is Scandinavian.

TheVanguardSix · 31/05/2020 01:39

Little White Company
Cologne and Cotton for baby bedding (they do children's nightwear)
Jacadi (French children's clothing line)
Absorba childrenswear
